Safety at Redline Structures
Redline Structures ON Inc is committed to providing and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all its employees. It is the company policy to provide top quality service while taking all reasonable steps to prevent injury to employees, the client and the public. To achieve this objective, the company will comply with M.O.L, federal, provincial, local, and industry safety regulations. We cannot meet this goal without the full co-operation from all personnel. We also expect all Trade Contractors to abide by the same high standards we demand of our own employees. This co-operation is needed and expected.
Management personnel are responsible for the health and safety of the employees and for the provision of safe working conditions. Management shall promote and support the company health and safety program and ensure that all employees are informed of what is expected of them regarding health and safety.
Project Managers are responsible for the promotion of the safety program on projects and to ensure that supervisors, foreman, workers, and Trade Contractors comply with the program. Project Managers will also ensure that staff receives appropriate education and training regarding changes to regulations and current practices.
Safety Officers are responsible for the co-ordination and implementation of the safety program and applicable M.O.L OH&S regulations on the construction site.
Workers and Trade Contractors shall observe all safety rules and regulations and conduct themselves in a manner that does not endanger the wellbeing of themselves or others, or cause property damage. Workers and Trade Contractors shall report all accidents and injuries immediately and are encouraged to submit recommendations for improved safety measures. Trade Contractors shall provide their own appropriate safety equipment where required by M.O.L and OH&S regulations and shall provide for their own W.S.I.B. coverage.
Visitors shall comply with the company safety program.
Redline Structures health and safety program is designed in the best interests of all personnel, Trade Contractors, visitors, and customers. The company believes accident prevention and efficient production go hand-in-hand and, accordingly, insists on dedicated participation in its requirements.
